My Story

Hi, I'm Laura, the designer,  silversmith,  owner, photographer, accountant and every other job role you can think of here at Cornish Bluebelle.

My jewellery is inspired by my love for Cornwall, each piece reflects the beauty of the sea, the rolling countryside, or the serene landscape around us, I find inspiration wherever I go. In addition, it’s the people in my life I love the dearest who also bring such inspiration to Cornish Bluebelle. To me, there is no greater item of jewellery anyone can own than that of personalised jewellery with your loved ones names or important dates on.

And this is where Cornish Bluebelle originated from. I wanted a special piece of meaningful personalised jewellery – a treasured keepsake I would love & cherish forever. However I could not find good quality, well made personalised hand stamped jewellery anywhere online so I decided to learn to do it myself and that’s when Cornish Bluebelle was born.

In the early days back in 2016 I would sit down at our farmhouse kitchen table and unpack my tools each time I wanted to create myself something, fast forward to the present day and I have my own workshop here on the farm bursting at the seams with all of my tools, an online following of over 33 thousand and stock beautiful shops.

I live on our family farm with my husband and two young sons. When I’m not in the workshop you’ll find me on long coast path walks or out on the farm with my children.
